Game of Thrones Writer Teases "Intimate" Third Season, Focus on Characters

at . Comments

As we inch closer to the Game of Thrones Season 3 premiere on March 31, HBO continues to drop hints, teases and promos related to upcoming episodes.

There was the raven-based trailer released last week; and now writer Bryan Cogman is here to take us behind the scenes of the epic drama.

In the following video, Cogman explains how the team decides what to keep and what to eliminate from the books, while also referring to this spring as a more "intimate season," during which we'll spend a lot of time with the characters we've grown to love. Or love to hate, in the case of a certain young king.
