A great vehicle for Ziva, and while I've always been a big fan of Eli - not sure there was much more that could be done to develop his character beyond the fate that had been written for him.
Some great character moments in the episode - and while I agree that there are a few inconsistencies, like Ziva being buring her father, with no sign of any protection for a US federal agent, it only very slightly detracts from what has been the best episode on the show since Engaged Part I.

On the way she feels about Twitter now: "I became a Tweetaholic, and I hold nothing back. I tweet for 'NCIS,' because I love my show. It's my favorite show in the world. I'm a total fan addict.
"I started this thing, like I do thematic tweeting wherever I go. Because my people are all around the world, I had everybody in every country in the world do the 'I love you' sign, from every country in the world, which was insane. It was crazy how it all came back.
"So, I went from being like, 'I'm never going to do this,' to 'OK, I'll do it for the shelter,' to literally I'm just, like, never not doing this" -- she mimes thumb-typing -- "all the time."

kids and about 90 elderly people there, and it was closing. I was freaking out. I talked to my pastor, I'm like, 'What do we do? What do we do?'
And then my friend from church is like, 'You should start a Twitter account.' 'No, no, no, Stop Making Friends, that's not me, that's not me.' ... But we started Twitter, and through that, and then a couple other things that happened, we raised $2.5 million in 48 hours, saved the shelter.
"With that much more money, we moved a bunch more people into the shelter. Instead of the shelter closing, we were able to afford that."

I am posting some questions that Pauley Perrette answered about her Twitter account in an interview she gave on "Kate O'Hare's Hot Cuppa TV". If you want to read the article for yourself you can google Pauley Perrette and her feelings about Twitter and this will come up.
How she got onto Twitter: "I started off, I have a YouTube channel, and I kept getting impersonated. I wasn't on Facebook; I wasn't on Twitter; I wasn't on anything. It's so funny, because the name of my band is Stop Making Friends. It's like a joke about the social network. I even had a whole entire YouTube video that had been seen thousands of times of me going, 'I am not on Twitter; I am not on Facebook,' because I kept getting impersonated all the time.
"Then, random, this seems like a non sequitur, but this women's and children's shelter that is very close to my heart in Sylmar was closing. We take people off downtown streets of L.A. and put them in this beautiful place. We have got about 100 women and 75

did for the season premeire. Sorry to burst your bubble, but a lot people in show business are asked to Twitter as part of their jobs. Contact with fans is something the network encourages so that they can appeal to more people and get more viewers. If a star makes tweets during an episode it is hoped that more viewers will tune in in hopes that they can make contact with a favorite character.

Thank you for being the voice of reason. Michael Weatherly does have a Twitter account. As does Pauley Perrette. Sean and Rocky and Brian do, too. Christopher Waild is a writer for NCIS and he is also on Twitter. Please tell me who would have access to all the behind the scenes pictures that Michael, Pauley and Christopher post if it is not them? Please! Chris Waild posted the picture of Ziva's little green dress making a reappearance on the show weeks before that episode aired. Michael Weatherly has posted shots of Cote and himself before episodes are aired. He also posts videos of himself on the set or on his personal vacations. Pauley Perrette is always posting pictures of her in her personal life, ie...pictures at church, at social events and with her fiance. Now, who else would have that much access to their intimate moments besides them? And you know this how? Are you personal friends with all of the actors including "paul" whoever that is? And too bad they need to "escape' to be on Twitter. I don't think MW's friends would be posting such private photos of him through an account that says Michael Weatherly@ M_Weatherly. He, Pauley and Brian are very active on Twitter, as is Chris Waild one of the writers. Sean is on Twitter, Cote is not. Rocky is, Mark is not. You know nothing, you just make up things to make yourself sound important. Well, the above quote just made you look dumb. Congratulations: you succeeded.

@guest All of the cast on NCIS work long 12-16 hour days. MW is not on twitter just because he is an extrovert and likes to talk to people. I'm sure he gets tired like everyone else. Besides that, he has a wife and family where he is needed. Episode 1 of this season, Pauley Perrette, Sean Murray, Brian Dietzen and yes Michael Weatherly spent the hour live tweeting with their fans. At the time, there were pictures on the internet which indicated that they did this.
I believe that all the stars are concerned about their fans. However, some decide to live tweet. This is my opinion.

Cote has live tweeted before during an episode. She live tweeted during season 9, episode 5, "Safe Harbor". She was very friendly and answered as many tweets as possible, most of them personal questions. Cote, herself, does not have a Twitter account like many of the other NCIS actors do. I follow Christopher J Waild, a writer who co-wrote "Shabbat Shalom" and "Shiva". He tweeted on the night "Shiva" aired that while we were watching, the cast was filming a scene in a creepy warehouse. So obviously, if Cote is busy working, she cannot take the time to tweet with the audience. I am sure all of those things have to be scheduled into their days. And maybe some people just aren't comfortable with the thought of tweeting. I don't think that means they disrespect their fans. Everyone has different personalities. MW seems to be a very extroverted guy who enjoys talking to people. Just because someone else isn't the same way, doesn't mean they don't appreciate their viewers. I don't k

@Erin I agree with you. Whether it's funny, drama, or romantic, MW is a very talented actor. In the last 2 Part Episodes, his face alone showed compassion for Ziva and understanding for Gibbs. MW is also considerate of his fans. When the Christmas episode was on, he took the time to Live Tweet with all his followers. It would have been nice if Cote de Pablo did the same with her last 2 episodes. Does anyone know if she did? I like all the characters on NCIS. NCIS Keep up the good work! Hope it goes on for a long time !

I agree with S. It's so sad that Tony only gets any dramatic scenes if they are about Ziva now. The showrunners and producers seem to only care about promoting MH and CdP's careers as the "serious" actors. They seem intent on getting only these two noticed for their dramatic abilities, by giving them all the long term big dramatic stories and constant focus. What a shame. They are overlooking the biggest talent on the set IMO. It's as if they are afraid to give any real drama to MW, for fear that he'll outshine the favored two.

@guest Thank you. - found that interview, and yes, CdP has always wanted tiva, but I've never really read on overt comment by MW stating that he wanted it. Sometimes he makes joking remarks that could be taken as having more than one meaning, and I know that in several past interviews, he was very much against it. My guess is that he has been instructed to soften his public opposition, since the "year of tiva" seems to be the promotional theme this year. It doesn't surprise me though that CdP is for this pairing since it is pretty much all about flattering and featuring the Ziva character. It doesn't do much for Tony though, which tptb no longer seem to care about since the show is about wanking and promoting Ziva/tiva now.

They've stayed pretty true to actual dates this season, the last day of the season opener was the actual day of the season opener. I think it will probably be one or two weeks after. Ziva is back and I would think she would have been in Israel at least a week. Any way, that's my guess, and that's all it is: a guess.

Yes, that is what I stated in an earlier comment. S just wanted to know where I found those interviews with Cote making those comments. Too bad she and Michael do not have a say in what gets written for the show! Until then, we are at the mercy of the writers! :)

@guest re: Interviews= I have seen the video's and Cote does say that she thinks that things HAVE happened between Tony and Ziva, but we just get teased, and that she and Michael constantly come up with scenarios in which they kiss and it leads to someththing sexual and they give their ideas to the writers, but it's ultimately up to them (the writers). She mentioned in another interview that she and Michael like to come up with scenarios where they are in small spaces- boxes, elevators= what's next?

Trent Kort- last heard of= Ray got a text after he gave Ziva the empty box that Kort was in Tel Aviv or Israel, which was why he had to leave again. I think Ray was sent to take out Kort. Later eps shows occasional calls between Vance and Eli that Gibbs' interrupts but it is "need to know." Vance later gets a text from Eli "we got him" or something of that ilk. I think Ray took out Kort. Or for those of you who think Ray and Kort are behind this, maybe Ray just "reported" he killed Kort, and since Ray is in Leavenworth probably, Kort is exacting revenge on Eli and Ray= he may have thought Ray and Ziva were married by now. I am sure Ray and Kort knew each other pretty well, that Ray would have told him he was with Ziva. Or not.
Until we see the finale, I don't think we will know the whole story, if then.
