The writers seem to be slowly having Tony grow-up. He really only had a few silly moments. Either they are trying to make him become more like Gibbs, or he is becoming more of a Director type. I think that it was right that Ziva was only in the Olive Grove, as that was important part of the story, a way for closure. A scene with her siblings being there to comfort her would have been nice, tho. The relationship with Tony and Ziva is getting interesting, and I look forward to see how the writers proceed. They just have to be careful to not "Jump the Shark". My hope is that the writers find a way for for the characters to deal with Bodnar without compromising the show's inherent integrity. Killing Kazmi was not the best idea, in my humble opinion.... his character seemed to have more "life" to it. Maybe the writers are doing a Magnum - like they did with the Lilly character... This episode arc was one of several handfulls of episodes that have stayed with me. Only one thing bothering me - if Tony is such a ladies man, why does he have such a small bed? And why is it so old fashioned?

I agree with other I believe that there more then one person behide this maybe even our own CIA. You know what I would like to see Ziva not come back for a while have her lose contact with NCIS while at home maybe run into Trent Kort and be on the run.

@DJ
I totally agree with your assessment of Mark Harmon and his ability to convey so much with a mere glance. I know everyone was focused on Ziva and Tony, characters I also love, but I think the stoic Gibbs deserves some appreciation. That was a powerful scene between him and Vance. So much was said without a word. As for Ziva and Tony, I just hope this brings them closer to the end game.

I think the now former deputy director of Mossad did not want peace with Irainins and I also think he wanted the Eli David position as Director of Mossad.

it's not that I don't like deputy director Craig but I Assistant Director Granger is probably a better man for the job at hand, I was expecting him instead.

While we assume that Bodnar assassinated Eli in order to gain power in Mossad, I believe that someone else is the power behind him. I am curious about the mysterious Swedish billionaire's sudden appearance in the United States at the same time Deputy Director Craig came in from Europe. Could those two have a secret agenda? I also think Vancee will be a far darker version of himself, and wonder if he may forge some kind of bond with Ziva to exact revenge either through his position as director or as an outsider on leave. Being on leave would free him to do some fieldwork with her.

Two comments:
Ziva was praying and asked for a sign of hope, and then Tony showed up.
When Vance asked Gibb's is it (revenge) was worth it, Gibbs looked at the children. There was his entire message, that children changed everything, and that if Vance took revenge, the children woud suffer. Vance got it. An entire conversation in a glance. Harmon is terrific at doing this.

Amazing episode, and I totally agree with Tony as MVP. I cried throughout the ep and I LOVED Ducky's quips, and Abby's warmth. NCIS just keeps bringing it, which is why it is the number one show on TV. The cast totally rocks each and every episode, and the writers are at the top of their game. I LOVED the song at the end, and the fact that Tony told Ziva she is not alone. She needs her NCIS family to track down the rogue Mossad agent.

@mikeyk & @Mary - Both of you: WELL SAID!! :-) I, too, was sooo proud of Tony in this ep!! WOW! Somewhere along the road, Tony the MAN showed up when Ziva needed him the most. That's what counts. Now I love the guy even more. I'm glad the writers let him be a Sensitive, in-tune DiNozzo who can STILL do his job. He was gentle with Ziva, but firm too. I love the scenes at his apt. What a FANTASTIC job Cote did in these two eps!! Ziva was able to be the wonderfully complicated soul that she is, yet vulnerable. What a beautiful actress! I also agree that Ziva should NOT try to take out Bodnar herself in revenge; that would be foolish. Bodnar is dangerous, and I'm worried about him, actually. I don't know why he had to kill Kazmi either. Maybe he doesn't want Peace. I think we'll see him in the finale - especially since Ziva is clearly his next target.
