Private Practice Season 6 Report Card: A-

at .

As we prepare to say goodbye to Private Practice Season 6 and therefore, of course, the series as a whole, let’s take a look back at where this unusual season has gone so far.

With Shonda Rhimes and company mixing things up via character-centric installments, viewer reaction has been mixed. Where do you stand on the opening 10 episodes? Read through the following Report Card and then cast your vote...

In Bed with CharCoop

Best Character: Charlotte. I didn’t think it was possible, but I’ve somehow managed to fall even more in love with KaDee Strickland’s portrayal. She’s always made us laugh and cry, but her pregnancy has completely transformed her into an even more dynamic fireball that keeps us on our toes. Plus, CharCoop’s journey has been an epic aspect of Private Practice. Undoubtedly, I will miss them the most.

Worst Character: Sam. It just seemed like there wasn’t much of a story to tell for Sam if he wasn’t with Addison. His episode was also definitely a miss. More on that soon, though.

Best Episode: It’s a tie between “Apron Strings” and “Georgia on My Mind." While we saw Addie overcome challenges with Henry’s biological mother, she also got engaged to Jake and now a wedding is on the way. Meanwhile, Charlotte totally rocked her installment with numerous unforgettable Private Practice quotes.

Worst Episode: “The Next Episode." Talk about snoozefest! This may have honestly been the worst episode in Private Practice history. Blame it on my distaste of reality television, but Sam deserved a much better storyline.

Best Guest Appearance: Marisol Nichols as Jake’s deceased wife, Lily. She was phenomenal on “The World According to Jake."

Hopes for 2013: Of course, I’d love nothing more than a strong sendoff for our favorite doctors. Let’s hope the Seaside Wellness doctors end up content with their lives. As a huge fan of flash forwards, I wouldn’t mind seeing where and how everyone ends up. I’m super excited to meet the rest of CharCoop’s triplets, witness the Jaddison wedding and the return of Audra McDonald as Naomi.
