When Emily is with Daniel she not being herself - she is pretending to be this amazing Emily Thorne, a philanthropist and kind person Daniel fell in love with. But we all know she is not Emily Thorne - she is Amanda Clarke at heart and her life story made her who she is today. I used to like Daniel and Emily together in s1 because I felt like there was still a slight chance that Emily might come to the conclusion that revenge will not give her true happiness given how much the son of her arch enemy loves her. Daniel was very different from what he is now in s2. He is becoming a true Grayson - greedy and ambitious for power. And that is why I don't like him with her anymore, because if in s1 he wanted to be different from his family now he is exactly like them.
I can't wait to see how this pans out - I think the writers did a great job once again with bringing in these two different revenge agendas into the story because its is interesting to see how far Emily will go this time and I

I think a lot of people are missing one important point when it comes to Aiden and Emily, which Emily even admitted to last episode - when they met on the beach it was because she needed an honest moment. Hence their relationship is very real, even though it is fueled by revenge agendas. Look, I know its not the typical girl meets boy, they fall in love and live happily ever after kind of fairy tale most of us would like to have but unfortunately sometimes bad circumstances bring people together and the fall for each other like war and death - in this case these two characters have lost their dearest due to the actions of people who walk over bodies to get what they want. Thats a fact and you can't run away from it.

I can't stand aiden. I'm not excited that he was bumped to series regular next year. I hate his scenes and think he brings nothing to the table. He just takes away from Emily's story lines. I enjoyed her so much more with Daniel. I would love to see their relationship get back to where it was in season one. I wish Ashley would just go away… her presence is pointless and she's a terrible actress. And I know he's been on most every episode, but I still feel like we're seriously lacking in the Nolan scenes! Him and Ems need more scenes together. They're the heart of the show.

What did you think of "Collusion"? Is this the end for Aiden and Emily? Do you think that was really Aiden's sister on the video?
As usual, Emily saved the day. I hate to think that this is the end for Aiden and Emily. I love the actor who is Aiden. Yes, I do think that this is Aiden's sister, but when was this video made?

Aiden has added so much to the story-line and has been wonderful to watch his story-line unfold. Barry Sloane is a very talented actor, super handsome and love the accent! I am anguishing over the fact that the one who gives the ultimate sacrifice for Emily is someone she loves. Emily actually only seems to really truly love Aiden, and Nolan-(like a brother). So I am very scared for Aiden. He would have done anything for Emily, up until he saw the video of his sister possibly dying because of Emily's decision NOT to kill Victoria. Emily got him in that situation with The Initiative, and his sister actually may be paying the price for it! I enjoyed episodes 1-9 this season, but after that the episodes became chaotic and disjointed. I'm hoping after the break they get back on the track they originally were on the beginning of this season.

I never liked Emily and Daniel together because it was obvious that Daniel was just a means to an end for her. There is serious chemistry between Aidan and Emily, though I think she still harbors some love for Jack. Fauxmanda marrying him in the end really hurts her, I think. but I wish that she had allowed Aiden to shoot Victoria in the head, there is nothing good about that snake of a woman! Meanwhile, I was glad to see that Nolan the wonderful finally figured out that Padma is just using him and is an evil minion of the Initiative. Poor Nolan, surrounded by users and revengers. I hope that he gets some happiness and someone to love eventually. He's a great guy and marvelous character. I hope someone kills the Ryan brothers and that Jack and Declan get the bar back.

@Miranda I get where you're coming from but I've noticed in Revenge, family trumps all (most of the time). Emily is loyal to no one when it comes to her Dad, same goes for Aiden as was evidenced by his abandonment of Emily over his sister; Even though she forgave him he is threatening to abandon her a second time and to my utter surprise she is begging him. If she can trust Aiden again after her broken heart I think she can give Daniel a chance since he has seen the error of the Grayson way and is trying to do right and succeed in business while at it. The major problem is if she and Daniel truly get back together, what happens when she is done with her revenge against Victoria, Conrad & the Initiative? Charlotte and Daniel may never forgive her.

I thought I'd just read the reviews instead of watching the show to save myself from wasting time, but the reviews are just a concentrated version of the nonsense that Revenge has descended to.
So sad when I have to say farewell to a show that I used to love.
Same thing happened with Buffy, and Alias, and Sopranos, and Mad Men...
Sad to see the shit hit the fan in only season two though. They really should have ended the series with Jack dead on the beach.
By season three I'm sure they'll be saying that the father is still alive, working for the initiative in order to keep Emily safe or some shit.
So sad... but the time has come for me to say "no more".

Padma is definitely another pawn being used by the initiative. They have something on her and that's why she is helping them. I'm not sure what it is, but you could tell she was afraid of not getting what they wanted in time.

I want Daniel and Emily to work out somehow. Its Revenge, anything is possible.
Even though at the beginning of this season i was still rooting for Daniel and Emily, their relationship felt odd during this episode. I am slowly changing my mind about them. Or, rather than that, it's just that i don't know what to think anymore.
As for Aiden, i never really liked him. The way they introduced him and his love story with Emily was a little forced (in my opinion). I still can't see any chemistry between the two actors which isn't helpfull at all...

There are times that I like Aiden but for me he is too much of a loose cannon and I am not sure that Emily can reign him in when she needs to. I have said from the beginning that Padma seemed swarmy and for all her little hesitations at times I am not sure that I am buying it. Well Conrad is Conrad and I am not sure he knows how to be anyone else.
I am not going to even guess who is floating in the Ocean as I am not sure if they will go the expected route or the other side of the coin entirely.

I definitely think Daniel still has shades of his season 1 self inside. (Uh, it's only been what, a year?) That's why he's so uncomfortable and awkward in business transactions. That's not who he is. But seeing him choose Team Grayson in the interview proved to Emily that she can't trust him. She'll probably never be able to trust him. And there will always be what Tyler told him lingering in the back of his mind. So even though she has feelings for him/dreams about him, and even though the kind, poetic part of him is in there somewhere, it's not a risk she can take.

I think the question of whether or not that was Colleen on the video comes from Emily asking Aiden if he's sure it's her and if he's sure she's alive. He says he's sure but also that he can "subsist on hope." So the writers are leaving some room for that girl to be someone else. And with this show, stranger things have happened.

Nolan, I feel for you. As much as the truth hurt I'm glad he found out. That Padma...I think The initiative has something on her... Maybe a family member. I don't want to think that she's totally evil... But at least now, Nolan knows.
Charlotte, good job ! I knew it ! What a slap in her parents' face ! I most def enjoyed it ! But Jack, your brother's warned you. and he was right. Man, Conrad he's despicable ! Not that I'm shocked or anything !
I'm still rooting for Emily and Daniel, I think they still have great chemistry!

I disagree about Daniel and Emily. I love them together, much more than I like AIden with Emily. I think that Daniel has changed on the surface but he's still very much the sweet guy from season 1 that wants to be a poet. He's just been forced down a road towards the Grayson name. But I think that Emily has real feelings for him, it's part of why she feels so uncomfortable leading him on, and why she dreams of him, and there are moments between them where you see Emily just relax and enjoy herself.
