I don't think Stephan & Rebekah will hook up romantically. That ship has sailed. As for Elena, I think she and Stephan will at some point get back together.

My sense is Elena is stefan's one true love. Rebecca was just a bit o fun on the side. It comes down to relationship chemistry and stefan may have sex chem with rebecca but he's devoted like a knight to Elena.
That said, Elena suits Damon better. Sucks to be you dear Stefan

So Stefan gets to sleep with a girl he previously dated who happily warmed Damon's bed and is currently crazy over Matt? The writers can't be this clueless! I'm giving them the benefit if the doubt by choosing to believe Stefan sets up a date between Rebekah and Matt.

Stefan deserves better than some idiot who would come between him and his brother. If Rebekah helps him have some fun, why not!

I am still really curious as to why Kol is so desperate to stop everyone from finding the cure, I also think that the cure involves sacrificing the vampire's (Elena) sire (Damon) or more likely the Original vampire she descended from (Klaus) wouldn't that be a paradox? Stefan seems to be on the rebound, with the worst choice possible.

Definitely time for Stefan to move on. Besides, he originally loved Rebekah after Katherine. At this point, I'd prefer to see him with Caroline because she's more emotionally stable and that would be a good match for him, but anyone but Elena. I think Elena is better suited to Damon.

If there are more screwed up parts of the season's episodes,this show won't even feel the same from the events we used to love. I know that there will be a lot of mysteries and problems to be solved but I just want this show to feel like it's normal love story again(mostly see Stelena fans rise again and to forget the Delena fans even if Damon seemed to let Elena go). =|

I really like the idea... Stefan seriously needs to get over Elena. And if "Stebekah" is really happening and Stefan can get over the fact that she killed Elena, Klaroline doesn't seem so impossible anymore. Yay!

I say Katerine in going to show up in Mystic Falls with Kol. New threats and unexpected visitors with 'the vixen lurking in the shadows, keeping herself hidden' (as Julie Plec hinted at)? Would be a nice refresher ;-).
