The Tomorrow People

Henry Ian Cusick is headed to The CW.

The former Lost and Scandal star has signed on for The Hundred, a sci-fi drama based on a series of novels by Kass Morgan.

The series will be set nearly a century after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization, as 100 juvenile delinquents - previously housed in a space station called The Ark - are sent back to Earth to see if re-colonizing the planet is a viable option.

Cusick will portray Kane, an Ark officer has his sights set on the Chancellor’s job.

Among other CW pilot castings:

• Robbie Amell, Peyton List and Luke Mitchell will star on The Tomorrow People, all playing individuals with superhuman abilities.
• Malese Jow will return to the network as a student on Oxygen, a drama based around aliens integrating high school.
• Claire Holt will come on board The Originals as a series regular.
