CSI Renewed for Season 14, Ted Danson on Board

Sorry, criminals of Las Vegas. You won't be getting away with very much for the next year or so.

CBS announced today that it has renewed CSI for a 14th season, while also confirming that Ted Danson has signed a new contract to remain as lead investigator.

He will be joined in 2013-2014 by Elisabeth Shue and original cast members George Eads, Jorja Fox, Eric Szmanda, Paul Guilfoyle and Robert David Hall.

“The writers and producers have done an amazing job evolving CSI, reinventing the show around an incredible leading man in Ted Danson, the acclaimed Elisabeth Shue and our beloved and talented core of original cast members,” CBS Entertainment president Nina Tassler said in a statement.

For the season to date, CSI remains number-one in overall viewers for Wednesday nights at 10 p.m.
