The Walking Dead Season 4 will feature at least one brand new face.
AMC confirms that it is seeking an actor in his 30s or 40s to come on board this fall in the role of Roy Stark, a former army medic whose self-deprecating public persona masks some seriously major personal demons.
The character will be a series regular.
Following Sunday's record-breaking season finale, it was also announced that David Morrisey would return next year as The Governor, a departure from the graphic novels in which that villain is killed in his raid on the prison.
Look for The Walking Dead to return with new episodes in October.
