Great episode. Loved it! I think the reason that Kalinda betrayed Carey was because of Alicia. Neither Carey nor Alicia told her that Alicia was leaving as well. She thought it was just Carey and the fourth years. Kalinda realised that it was every man or woman for themselves. Besides, she had fulfilled the obligation she felt she owed Carey. She had to get back to working for the people paying her salary. I respect that.
Yes, but she didn't have be so enthusiastic and blatant with it. If she had a problem with Alicia let her go to Alicia. I had a big problem with Kalinda rushing downstairs and bald-face lying to Cary and then rushing back up to crook Will with the info. Will is all but devoid of ethics and my value of Kalinda suffers when she sides with someone like Will.
I loved the show however Alicia and Cary should have left on their own. Most of the 4th years are immature and have already hurt the new firm. Love, love Diane and her devotion to the firm she started. Peter showed once again don't mess with his wife or family. Alicia has made several moves lately that surprised me in regard to their legality. In some ways she has become what she was trying to leave. Will as always was Will, arrogant and a jerk.
Absolutely THE BEST EPISODE EVER of this show. I couldn't turn away the whole hour!!!!!!
This was the best show of all 5 seasons Alicia hit the ball out of the park to show the firm and especially WILL he has no reign on her life.
Absolutely the best episode so far. Heart-pounding, galloping action. Finally Alicia showed cunning along with her intelligence. Very satisfying indeed.
I liked the ep very much. But I felt disgusted by the betrayal.
I wasn't expecting the drastic change in Alicia. She's suddenly become ruthless and mean almost, but is she really better than Diane and Will? True, Diane and Will lied to the fourth years about making them partners, they're manipulative, etc. However, Alicia is just as bad. She accepted the offer to become partner and she seems to have no problems with her husband playing dirty to get her what she wants. The question is, why should Cary trust Alicia? Another question is, why does she still trust her husband, someone who seems to be reverting back to his old self? To be truthful, I kind of want Alicia to fail, for her to realize that she has betrayed the one and only person who gave her a chance when she most needed one.
The one who gave her the job was only interested in one thing and for awhile he got it, that doesn't sound like someone to make a life with.
This is awesome!
Not only the episode, I am talking about the new site layout. Well done! Especially the threaded replies, God knows I've waited long enough. (3 years, and a dozen emails to @Matt and company!!!)
Thank you! It's taken us awhile, but we think it will payoff in many ways for our loyal, terrific readers.
We're as excited as you are about the layout, Pratik!! :-)
I still don't like Peter and Alicia together..but I love the new Alicia..."go to hell Will" ...woah!!!
FINALLY!!! Been waiting for this since the finale last season!! so happy for Florrick and Argos & Associates, they deserve it as do their old firm. i agree with other Cary's comment about too long they've been saving the firm whilst the partners get all the credit.
This episode was carefully crafted and realistic! I have no symph for Diane because she should have kept her business head on like Will did! think of yourself and not others!! I wonder if she knows that she is the glue and sole reason why their other clients are remaining at the firm now alicia isn't there anymore....
