Everyone can justify their stance, they are lawyers. I feel for every character in that episode. However I am excited to see everyone bringing their A game to courts in future episodes.

Peter has held back due to his dedication to running a clean campaigns/offices, but now he is ready to get his hands dirty. We haven't seen much of what he can do, but I am excited and scared to see the old Peter Florrick in action. Everyone (including Kalinda) seemed a little shaken up or affected by the events of the day except Peter. For the first time ever he seemed relaxed when he confirmed his decision with Eli to suspend his nomination of Diane for judgeship. Like he slipped back into the person he is and not the person he wants to pretend to be for his wife and kids.

You're right about that Peter. I hadn't thought about us never really seeing him in action before. We came into it after he had already been caught for any wrong doing and was trying to make up for it. Watching him play dirty on behalf of his family could be very fun!

This episode was great! I've been anxiously waiting to see Will blow his top at Alicia. Although, I don't think all of that anger was justified. There has been many times that Diane & Will were unfair to Alicia for their own opportunities.
And, Diane can probably forget about being the Supreme Court Judge.

I absolutely love this show. But I almost don't believe how low Alicia is willing to sink. Wasn't she always taking the high road? I do like the scene where she breaks down in the elevator. This show has so brilliantly set up all the issues/fodder it needs for a dynamite season. There are the fraudulent votes from last season, Will's stealing money, Diane's judgeship, and the gorilla in the room - Alicia's affair with Will. The Governor needs to tread carefully. He may have power to wield over everyone, but he also has the most to lose, when all this blows on his face. Can't wait for the rest of the season!

Diane should have thought about her judgeship before she made her move....

Technically Alicia wasn't fired at the time when she told her son to transfer the files/contacts. Will was in the process of trying to get the partners together to vote to fire her.

WOW! It was great. I was shocked at Kalinda's betrayal of Cary though. It was not a surprise that she talked to Will at the end after everything had gone down. But her lying to Cary and betraying him was shocking to me. The show was very realistic. Diane and Will, as usual, felt all wronged and betrayed but they had no guilt about withdrawing the associates partner offers or any other of their ethical lapses. This was a terrific episode and set up the rest of the season in great fashion. I was cheering for Alicia and Cary at the end. Don't cross Alicia! What a great show. The absolute finest show on all of television.

I was very disappointed that Kalinda betrayed Cary. My question is - does he realize that he was blatantly used for information?

I think he does after it became obvious that L-G knew their new office address. Look for Cary, who is one smart guy, to not make the mistake of trusting Kalinda again. Kalinda really sank in my view with this enthusiastic betrayal.
