Challenge extended, Music City.
Are the Private Lives of Nashville Wives as interested as the Real lives of Housewives depicted in Atlanta, Beverly Hills and New Jersey?
That was the question essentially posed on the series premiere of this TNT reality series.
So, let's meet the women at the center of it, shall we?
SARAH DAVIDSON is married to Dallas Davidson, a well-known performer in Nashville. She also has singing drams of her own and seems to be in a healthy, solid marriage.
We find ourselves rooting for Sarah during her live performance.
ERIKA WHITE is an ex-soap opera star who is married to Bryan White and now stays at home with the kids… but wants to do more. Meaning what, exactly?
Even Erika doesn't seem to know. We see a breakdown coming at some point.
JENNY TERREL works for LivingSocial and loves to discuss her own success. Also the success of her event-producing husband. She's the self-involved one of the group. Friends with Sarah.
CASSIE CHAPMAN is the third wife of Gary Chapman and a former Hooters gal. Over 20 years younger than her husband, she's determined to prove that she is no trophy wife.
That doesn't make her interesting, however. Her husband's attempt to revive his career is far better of a storyline.
ANA and BETTY are identical twins, the latter of whom is married to a founding member of The Mavericks and who considers herself one tough cookie. The former is a single other who is stuck dating bad men.
That's pretty much all we know about them at the moment.
