Sami sees the photos of EJ and Abigail…in EJ's nightmares. But oh what a nightmare it was.

It was so real. It was completely devastating and it was some of the best work we've ever witnessed from James Scott and Alison Sweeney. These two powerhouse actors played off of one another to perfection and I believed every heart wrenching minute.

It was all so good I almost wished it was real…almost. Those scenes really drove home how much love there is between EJ and Sami. Even if Sweeney is planning on leaving the show, I hope that somehow they don't have to blow this couple to pieces when the inevitable happens.

Now EJ just has to figure out who has those dirty photos and put an end to them, the Dimera way.

The other big story of the week was Liam setting up Daniel as a prescription drug user and I found it more enjoyable than I expected, in no small part thanks to Jennifer.

Well, not at first. At first I couldn't believe she'd invite some strange woman into her home in order to gather information. What was she thinking?

I was totally shocked that Jennifer didn't buy into Liam's ploy when she found that prescription drug bottle. For once Jennifer not only trusted Daniel, she also started thinking like the investigative journalist we used to know and love. Of course I'm not sure how much those skills will help her now that she's trapped at the Horton cabin with Liam. 

Nicole's done an admirable job of digging up the dirt on this psycho. It would be fun to see her and Jennifer working together on a case…if Jennifer weren't so self-righteous. Thankfully Nicole has Rafe to turn to, which should give him something to do other than talk to Jordan or worry over Nick and Gabi. 

Now I'm wondering how many of these characters will converge on the Horton cabin by Monday.

JJ was a kind of a jerk when he found out about Paige getting into Stanford. He was also a completely believable heartbroken teenager. I just hope the show doesn't spend too much time tearing JJ and Paige apart. It would be nice to see them have some fun for a while, even if it is just for the summer. 

Finally we get to Nick and Gabi. I loved Sami's response when EJ said that Gabi wouldn't try and take Will's rights away as father of baby Ari in this Days of Our Lives quote…

Gabi! You can't possibly be counting on Gabi. She doesn't even know her own mind until Nick tells it to her.

So very true and never more obvious than when she and Nick sat down with Aidan. 

I was a bit torn over this scene. I loved that Aidan so obviously saw through Nick's manipulation and controlling nature. Kudos to Daniel Cosgrove because Aidan never had to say a word for us to know what he was thinking. It came across in every expression and glance at Mr. Fallon.

But I did wonder why he was playing hardball with the custody agreement. Was that because it's his normal strategy, even when the parents appear to get along or was he trying to play into what Nick wanted since he was determined to control the show. Does Aidan plan to get Gabi alone and give her a more joint custody friendly alternative? Or perhaps we're headed towards a custody war. 

With May sweeps coming soon, anything is possible. I even hear that (SPOILER ALERT) murder may be just around the corner in Salem. Stay tuned…
