Based on the following photos, it looks like Rookie Blue Season 5 Episode 1 comes back right where we left off: with Sam Swarek fighting for his life, Andy McNally praying for his recovery and Nick simply looking on. 

Will Sam survive his surgery? Will Nick walk away, or try to prove that he and Andy have a future? And which man will Andy choose? 

And as if that weren't enough, poor Dov must deal with Chloe's medical crises...and her husband.
