We are off and running killing on True Blood Season 7.

The opening episode of the drama's final run featured a major death before the credits even rolled, with Sookie and company reacting to the loss of Tara over the subsequent 59 minutes.

Where will things go from here? Will they get any better?

Not before they get worse, it's clear in the following HBO promo, which teases True Blood Season 7 Episode 2, along with future installments this summer that depict many more impending infected vampire attacks.

Is Eric truly gone? Does hope remain for Sookie and Bill? Will Lafayette actually find the happiness?
