Shonda Rhimes will be getting out from behind the camera this fall.

The super producer (Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, How To Get Away with Murder) has booked a guest-starring gig on The Mindy Project, TV Line confirms.

Few details are available at this time, but look for Rhimes to play herself and, we'd have to assume, to interact with Minday Kaling's Dr. Lahiri in some fashion.

Rhimes will shoot her episode in September and it will air some time in 2014.

The Mindy Project Season 3, meanwhile, premieres on September 16.
