Will Vince Vaughn be solving crimes next year alongside Colin Farrell?
According to TV Line sources, the Wedding Crashers star is in negotiations with HBO to play one of the multiple leads in True Detective Season 2, with Farrell also under serious consideration, as first reported last month.
No word from the network or from writer Nic Pizzolatto regarding either of these casting rumors, though Pizzolatto has said the new season will be set in California and feature “four central roles."
Previous reports also linked former Friday Night Lights fullback Taylor Kitsch to the series.
