Coulson and company are back with several new members joining their ranks and helping rebuild S.H.I.E.L.D.

The second half of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 1 was an intense thrill ride and these new photos prove that was just the beginning.

Nick Fury left Coulson in charge of making S.H.I.E.L.D. legit again, but that's easier said than done as our heroes are now wanted fugitives. Our man Phil's not worried though. His focus is keeping the world safe from the super-powered threats that are out there.

Luckily, along with his established team of May, Skye, Fitz, Simmons and Triplett there are a few new faces joining the team this season. We meet them in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 Episode 1.

Lucy Lawless makes her S.H.I.E.L.D. debut as Isabelle "Izzy" Hartley. Nick Blood is taking on the role of mercenary Lance Hunter who, in the comics, is affiliated with S.T.R.I.K.E. the UK's version of S.H.I.E.L.D. Wilmer Calderon plays Idaho and Henry Simmons is Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie. Patton Oswalt also returns as Billy Koenig our favorite lanyard-obsessed agent and possible Life Model Decoy (LMD).

Did you know that Hayley Atwell will reprise her role as Peggy Carter from Marvel's Agent Carter? The Howling Commandos are set to appear alongside her in a 1940s-era flashback in the premiere as well. Is this exciting stuff or what?
