Days of Our Lives Recap: Sami's Off to Hollywood

Of all the ways Sami and EJ DiMera could have been written of the show, this particular scenario never made my list.
Well, I'll admit that EJ being killed was a far off possibility but I really never believed they'd put long term fans through that kind of torment. EJami fans have endured so many ups and down over the years that I believed they were due their happy ending. Boy, it looks like I was wrong.
If everything is as it seems then EJ is dead (or as dead as a DiMera can be) and Sami is off to Hollywood to cash in the her new found fame thanks to Will's article. I never saw that coming.
These last few days have given us some great scenes, most notably was Sami and Nicole bonding over EJ's death, the kids and drinks. As Sami told Kate in this Days of Our Lives quote…
Kate: Sami, have you been drinking?
Sami: Yeah. I mean a little. I mean it's Nicole's fault. She's a lush. You know she's a lush.
I was thrilled that Sami allowed Nicole to see Sidney and that the little girl still calls her Momma Nicole. "Oh Sidney, you are a part of my heart and you always will be." These two melt my heart.
But Sami's wasn't the only story in Salem. Will and Sonny argued once again over his work. Will keeps saying that if he won't write these articles then someone else will. Although I don't doubt it's true, the excuse is getting old. Will's doing this because he loves it. Maybe Sonny would have more respect for him if he'd just admit it.
Kristen went after Theresa which was kind of comical as she planted listening devices on both Eve and Ann and in the end it paid off. But my favorite scene of Kristen's was when Jennifer confronted her about Daniel.
Why don't you ask him about what happened here tonight? Oh that's right, he's not talking to you. Something about you being too judgmental.

I couldn't help but laugh. Kristen was only guessing but she got it right on the first try.
Elsewhere Clyde accused Jordan of murdering her mother in some sort of car accident when she was a teenager. If they had uncovered this horrible secret a year ago I might have cared but they've made us wait so long to find out Jordan's deep dark secret that I no longer care.
More interesting was Jordan and Chad beginning to date and the ripple effects it will have for Ben and Abigail.
You didn't slip up and tell Ben about me and Jordan. You wound him up and pointed him right at us.

Chad was absolutely right. Sweet Abigail likes to act innocent and self righteous but she's just as manipulative as any DiMera…and a little bit jealous that her good friend is dating her ex.
So do you think Sami's really going to take the kids and move to Hollywood? Will that actually keep her safe from Stefano?
