On The Flash Season 1 Episode 1 we are introduced to the world Barry Allen lives in. While we learned a bit about him and the type of man he is when he visited Starling City, there is so much more to him!

Once he wakes from his coma, Barry has the power of super speed. If he breaks a bone, it heals within hours. If you were Barry Allen, what would you do? Would it occur to you to visit the only other hero you know? Barry pays a visit to Oliver Queen (a 600 mile run -- who knew the cities were so far apart?) to ask his thoughts on being a hero and what it means. Oliver thinks Barry wasn't just hit by lightning, but he was chosen by it because he can inspire people. 

And so begins Barry's real foray into the world of heroism. He helps stop a bad guy with the help of his father figure, Det. Joe West. West never believed anything that Barry said about his mother's real killer, but once West sees Barry in action, will he change his tune?
