In the season 6 finale, Dina Manzo worries that her Lady Bug fundraising event will be ruined if their is a confrontation between Teresa Giudice and Teresa Aprea. The twins are still fuming about the rumors concerning their mother having an affair with Rino and they expect an apology from Tre.

Since Tre didn't start the rumor, she feels she has not reason to apologize and if the twins wanted to talk, they've had two weeks to do just that.

Instead they search out Teresa Giudice at the charity event and confront her in front of a crowd. Despite many tense moments and some harsh words, they manage to part amicably and put this entire mess behind them.

Months later Joe and Teresa Giudice are sentenced to Federal Prison. Joe Giudice will serve a 41 month sentence while Teresa was given 15 months. Teresa will start hers first beginning this Janaury and once she is done, then Joe will begin his sentence. This next holiday will be the last one they spend with their girls as a family for a very long time.
