Selfie Season 1 Episode 6 Review: Never Block Cookies

Henry did not realize that the woman working at the coffee stand was sacrificing her inventory to give him a cookie, otherwise known as flirting.
On Selfie Season 1 Episode 6, Eliza and Charmonique made it their mission to help Henry find a lady, and this mission had its ups and downs.
In the end they had some success, but did Charmonique manage to block Henry or not? We were left with a small mystery.
They really nailed humor better during this installment better than most of the past episodes have.
Eliza, along with practically everyone else in the office, knew that Henry needed a woman in his life, and Eliza, Charmonique and Saperstein banded together to do something about it.
Their short-term plan was to introduce Henry to the woman working at the coffee shop. If Henry had been able to pick up on the cues (or even listen to what the woman was saying), he could have gotten a date then and there. Alas, Henry's mind is not wired for social interaction, but we did get this very Charmonique Selfie quote!
It is taking every ounce of self control I have not to block this, it is like I want people to be happy, but on the other hand I don't.
Charmonique
For the long-term, Eliza and Charmonique were busy making dozens of dating profiles for Henry. This mission even involved Saperstein, whose scene in the bathroom with Henry was my favorite.
He was willing to use the bathroom of the masses to dig up some dirt on Henry for the dating profile. A good friend!
In fact, Saperstein stole the show for me. The scenes with his son-in-law Terrance nailed the humor as well.
Its not that I am at all ungrateful for being the alternate office floater.
Terrance
Unfortunately for Saperstein, his son-in-law is the office floater who never really has a job to do. We all know who this person is at work! It was funny to see him realize Terrance's potential, that he has the stuff that brilliant customer service people are made of! I enjoyed these two characters together, they are as much opposites as Henry and Eliza are.
The show is really making it obvious that Henry and Eliza have growing feelings for each other. Larry, the guy who didn't notice his wife hated flash mobs, was able to catch on, albeit for the wrong reasons.
Eliza realized it too. She wanted to show Henry how to interact with women, and help him, instead of him helping her. However, she realized that touching Henry made her feel something, and you could see that she was confused when she left his house.
For the second episode in a row Henry berated Eliza pretty hard. He really went off on her about being so casual. Did anyone else think this was harsh?
Charmonique: Okay Henry69.
Henry: That is in reference to the moon landing. And you had no right to be in my office!
I really didn't like it when Henry walked into the bar and discovered that all of the women looked like Charmonique and Eliza. I can see why this would have been really weird, but I still don't think Eliza deserved to be yelled at like that. She shouldn't even stand for that!
In the end, Henry took the cookie. A cookie that acted a lot like him, but he might as well give it a shot. Eliza realized that it made her feel bittersweet (but handled it better than i thought), while Charmonique must have caught on to what her friend was feeling (or is just going with her natural instinct to block) and ran after the taxi.
It was nice have a double feature tonight. The episodes seemed stronger and the continuity of the two flowed well. Do you Selfie fanatics out there agree?
