On The Flash Season 1 Episode 5, Barry finally meets another metahuman like him -- one that isn't hell bent on destruction.

It's ironic then that Bette Sans Scouci (dubbed Plastique by Cisco) is nothing but destruction, because her very touch turns anything into a bomb, including Barry's red suit!

Bette was a soldier, and being experimented on long before the particle accelerator exploded. It was the accelerator that fused shrapnel to her cellular structure, however. Barry badly wants to include her as a part of their team. Will Harrison Wells allow that, or does he have other plans?

Iris is still writing about the red streak and Joe is worried. He becomes even more concerned when Iris starts to put her name on the blog. The red streak pays her a visit, but it's not effective. If anything, she becomes even more invested in her research. 

Will Iris continue looking into the red streak if the streak himself and her best friend Barry ask her not to? What are the potential dangers to investigating something if the whole world knows you're doing it? It seems we might find out.
