TV Ratings Report: SHIELD Slips, Supernatural Soars

Viewers were happy to celebrate a special Supernatural last night, as the show's 200th episode drew in 2.19 million viewers, along with a 0.9 rating among 18-49-year olds.

Also on The CW, The Flash Season 1 Episode 5 held steady at 3.4 million total viewers, as it settles in as the network's most-watched program.

Elsewhere around the dial...

  • Selfie matched last week’s 0.9 rating among adults 18-49, with that sitcom burning off its final episodes; Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD fell a series low rating of 1.5, down 12 percent from its last new outing; Forever dropped 9 percent among 18-49-year olds.
  • MasterChef Junior remained on par with last Tuesday; New Girl fell 19 percent within the key advertising demographic; The Mindy Project fell even further, 23 percent.
  • On NBC, The Voice brought in 11.2 million viewers and earned a 2.9 rating; while Chicago Fire - kicking off a crossover storyline with Chicago PD and Law & Order: SVU - scored a 2.2, an increase of 29 percent.
  • NCIS Season 12 Episode 7 was the most-watched scripted show of the night (17.4 million), though NCIS: New Orleans (14.8 million/2.0) decreased in viewership from its most recent episode; and Person of Interest fell to a series low rating of 1.3.
