Edward James Olmos is headed to ABC.

The veteran actor, forever beloved for his four-season stint on Battlestar Galactica, has booked a role on Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD.

According to Mavel.com, Olmos will portray Robert Gonzales, a mysterious individual whose arrival promises to have “massive repercussions for Director Coulson and his team.”

Olmos, whose small screen resume also include stops by Dexter and The West Wing, will debut some time this spring, while Agents of SHIELD Season 2 resumes on March 3.
