Nashville Scoops Broadway's Kyle Dean Massey as Openly Gay Country Artist

at .

Will Lexington is about to get some stiff competition or a seriously hot and talented love interest. Maybe a little bit of both? Yes please.

Broadway star Kyle Dean Massey has joined Nashville Season 3 as an openly gay country artist. Massey was the Audience Choice Award winner for his titular role in the stage production of Pippin and has had roles in The Good Wife and Hart of Dixie.

Massey's character will be a loud and proud gay man named Kevin Bicks. The Will Lexington closeted storyline has started to get a little stale and there were rumors in the fall he was going to be coming out thanks to a new character coming into the picture who would show him how to be happy and successful at the same time.

What do you think, Nashville Fanatics, is Massey bringing in Kevin Bicks to kick some life into the Will Lexington story? Do you really care? Look at that face.
