TV Ratings Report: The Originals and Jane the Virgin Rise

The CW enjoyed a strong Monday night this week, as both The Originals and Jane the Virgin soared in the ratings.
First, The Originals Season 2 Episode 11 garnered a season-high 1.7 million viewers, along a 0.7 rating among 18-49-year olds; the former represented a 12 percent increase from last Monday.
Next, Jane the Virgin Season 1 Episode 11 pulled in 1.6 million viewers and a .6 demographic rating.
Overall, the network drew its best Monday audience in over two years.
ELSEWHERE around the dial...
- Celebrity Apprentice (6.4 million/1.8) and State of Affairs (4.5 million/1.0) each dipped a tenth among young adults.
- The Bachelor (7.9 million/2.2) went up 4 percent and a tenth to hit and tie season highs. Also on ABC, a Castle rerun (5 million/0.9) brought in a larger audience than State of Affairs.
- Gotham (6.1 million/2.1) decreased by a tenth, while Sleepy Hollow (4.3 million/1.4) inched up a tenth.
