Supergirl Scoops Calista Flockhart in Key Role

Supergirl's boss has just been found!
Calista Flockhart has been cast in the key role of Cat Grant. Supergirl Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist) works for CatCo the company Grant founded.
In the comics, Grant worked on the Daily Planet and only thought positively of Supergirl once she came to her aid after a violent run-in with the Dollmaker.
On the series, Grant will be the founder of the media conglomerate CatCo and Kara will be her assistant. Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) will also work at CatCo, so we expect to see a lot of Flockhart as Cat Grant!
Laura Benanti was also recently cast in the role of Alura Zor-El, Kara's mother.
