Our TV Fanatic Christine Orlando is joined by UhSir and Vanessa from MyHourglass a Days of Our Lives fan forum to debate what Daniel will do next. if Sonny and Will have a future and of which character they’d love to see more!
What do you think Daniel will do with the information he’s learned about Eve and JJ?
UhSir: He'll do something but I have no clue what. I'm sure Paige will find out because of him.
Vanessa: Knowing Daniel, he's going to hold on to it until he has to spill.
Christine: Oh, he’ll fret and moan and be completely angst-ridden before finally deciding he must do the right thing. I’m not entirely sure what the “right thing” is in this case but my guess is it will lead to Paige finding out the truth.
Do Will and Sonny have a future together?
UhSir: Not as a couple. I hope they work something out so Ari can still have both of them to raise her. Maybe Will can learn to be a good parent but right now Sonny is the one who has the strongest bond.
Vanessa: I hope not, and here's why. Sonny deserves better, Will is just like his mother in every way. Don't get me wrong I love Sami, but Will's a spitting image of her.
Christine: As a divorced couple, I hope. Will manages to blame everyone else for his mistakes while Sonny always tries to figure out what he did wrong. It’s a recipe for a very dysfunctional relationship and as others have said, Sonny deserves so much better.
Who would you rather see Brady paired with, Melanie, Theresa, Nicole, or someone else?
UhSir: Someone else. His wonderful friendship with Melanie is about to be ruined by their "falling in love." He's beginning to build a friendship with Theresa but they shouldn't take it any more than that. Nicole is way out of his league and I'd rather she not set herself up for more trash talk from Victor and Maggie.
Vanessa: I always shipped Brady and Nicole, they seem more natural. Brady and Melanie have always been like brother/sister so it's too weird to see them kissing.
Christine: Brady and Melanie are growing on me so I’m willing to give them more time. Theresa tried to kill his father so I think that’s a pretty big obstacle to overcome and Brady and Nicole work much better as friends.
If you could see more of one character, who would it be?
UhSir: Rafe. We need his sanity and reason to offset some of the crazy.
Vanessa: Stefano.
Christine: I’d like to see Rafe get a solid storyline. I think I’d enjoy something where he and Nicole work together. That could be a lot of fun. Rate could use some fun and Nicole could use someone who respects her.
Was there anything that disappointed you this week in Salem?
UhSir: Most of this week was disappointing but the worst was Nicole continuing to subject herself to Daniel's abuse, chasing after him, trying to deny the accusations that Daniel keeps conjuring up in his too-full-of-himself brain. It's horrible to see this once strong, smart and funny woman turned into everybody's verbal punching bag.
Vanessa: The whole Abby and Ben story is about as eye rolling as it gets. I don't like Ben anyways so I kinda cheered when she told him no about moving in
Christine: I agree with everything UhSir said. Watching Nicole chase after Daniel as he continues to treat her like dirt is really disheartening. I also wish we could get more than one day a week of Aiden and Hope.
What was your favorite scene or storyline on this week’s Days of Our Lives?
UhSir: Scene = Nicole talking to herself about Serena and Marlena: Sugary on the outside and POISON on the inside!
Storyline = Sonny and Paul. The revelations they both just had in their latest conversation has me looking forward to an exciting story.
Vanessa: Daniel finding out about JJ and Eve.
Christine: It was that moment where Victor told Daniel, “You know for a smart guy you can be a real moron.” Truer words were never spoken and leave it to Victor to voice them.
