Caroline was placed in captivity on The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 19, as Stefan, Damon, Elena came up with a plan to get their friend back.
Their friend who loves unicorns and rainbows, that is, not their humanity-free friend who openly feasts on anyone she can find.
But their plan didn't exactly go smoothly, as Caroline would not let her blood be drained without a fight.
And things got especially personal for Damon and Elena, with Caroline bringing up the former's hopes and dreams and how they'll never be realized as long as she's a vampire.
