That'll keep you from ever having sex in your car!

Throughout the season, The Mysteries of Laura has provided us with memorable murder scenes and tonight The Mysteries of Laura Season 1 Episode 20, was no different. What could have been a semi-romantic moment between two young people turned tragic when a body landed right on top of the windshield of their car.

Let's not waste anymore time and discuss tonight's episode.

Laura Isn't Happy - The Mysteries of Laura

You have to appreciate Frankie's enthusiasm at wanting to investigate the rave. I know there are a lot of people who don't like her, but she has grown on me these past few weeks and you can't deny she is good at what she does; though I do understand where people are coming from about being annoyed with her cheery personality.

Speaking of Frankie, why would she drink water at a rave without thinking about the possibility of it being drugged? It provided all of us with a comical scene between Frankie, Laura and Max, but next time she should pass on getting any refreshments. Also, can someone please tell me where to buy the coffee mug Frankie was drinking out of tonight? You can't deny it was one spectacular mug.

Laura: Frankie is rolling on Molly.
Max: One, you don't say rolling on Molly, you just say rolling. Two, Frankie is rolling is the best moment of my life.

Glad to hear I wasn't the only one who was surprised to hear Jake was dating Angela – where the heck did that come from? Jake hasn't given any indication he was seeing anyone, especially Angela, whom we haven't heard from since The Mysteries of Laura Season 1 Episode 12; though I'm surprised Laura hadn't introduced the boys to Tony yet.

Who else wanted to hug Billy during his interrogation of the suspect who tried to run? The guy saw nothing wrong with drugging women and was only nervous because he drugged a cop – thankfully the guy is going away for a long time and won't be able to drug random women.

So, if Detective Pulaski were just some blonde at the rave it would be OK to drug her without her consent?

Billy

Max was again on top of his game and I hope they never change him -– I just love the guy to death. They always give him the best one liners and he's one character I truly look forward to seeing week after week. The fact he was able to find the information they needed so quickly is reason enough to keep him around and maybe give him a promotion. You had to appreciate his glee in talking about the RKOI, but Meredith's assessment of all the pictures was pretty spot on.

Max: I found pics of her and Zach on RKOI.
Billy: RKOI?
Max: Rich Kids Of Instagram. Where my people show off their wealth in ridiculous ways; entitlement porn.

It didn't come as a surprise Tony and Billy would side with Jake when it came to introducing Angela to the boys. Billy is right, if Laura isn't planning on getting back together with Jake she needs to accept the fact he will date other people and will want to introduce them to his kids. Angela isn't some stranger either, Jake has known her for years and was in a relationship with her at one time, so it makes sense he would want his kids to get to know her.

Let's not even get into the whole Meredith and Billy relationship situation – Meredith needs to be truthful with Billy and let him know how she feels, because the man is clearly not picking up on any of the signals she is throwing out.

The case of the week was interesting with the murder of a club kids who also moonlighted as a drug dealer and possible accessory to arm robbery. It had the right amount of twists and turns without getting jumbled and irritating – I was actually surprised to learn the killer was Zach's brother.

In the end, Frankie gave a peace offering to Laura to make up for almost ruining the case and Laura gave her some much needed words of encouragement. Frankie has been through a lot and she needs to stop second guessing herself because she has proven to be a great detective.

Tony was finally introduced to the boys, who seemed to take a strong liking to him; though come on, take one good look at Tony and tell me how you couldn't immediately fall in love with him.

What did you think? Do you think Jake is really over Laura or is he using Angela as a distraction?
