Ben Higgins: Confirmed as Next Bachelor!

The worst kept secret in reality television has been made official:
Ben Higgins will be the next Bachelor on ABC.
The fan favorite, who finished third on the most recent edition of The Bachelorette, was announced as the 20th-ever Bachelor by Chris Harrison after Monday’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise.
“I am [ready to find love],” Higgins himself said. "I have a great example of love through my parents and grandparents and family. I’m ready to start sharing my life with somebody."
Following the announcement, TV Fanatic favorite Amy Schumer (who appeared the most recent Bachelorette season) called in with a message for Higgons:
“Ben, I would say, ‘Don’t do it!’ No, I’m so excited for you. Find love and then send some my way, OK?”
ABC is yet to announce a premiere date for The Bachelor Season 20.
But does Higgins make you more or less likely to tune in?
