Game of Thrones Season 6 Premiere Date Announced!

Well, we're STILL not sure, but at least you can mark your calendar for the premiere of Game of Thrones Season 6, which might give you an answer!
The thrilling adventure continues on Sunday, April 24 at 9/8c on HBO. Talk about appointment television!
This will mark the first time Game of Thrones will air without the guidance of a novel from George R.R. Martin, as his latest endeavor, The Winds of Winter, will not be completed in time for the sixth season.
It's possible, although highly unlikely according to Martin himself, that he could have the manuscript finished by that time.
Even so, the book would never be published in time.
And even if the story itself was completed, filming on the season would be well underway if not completed by the time it begins airing in April.
Does this worry you, or are you kind of excited to see what will happen now that the show writers are set free to breathe life into the characters all on their own?
The one thing we're sure of Bran returns and his visions will be a highlight of Season 6.
Elsewhere on HBO, Silicon Valley Season 3 will also premiere that same night on HBO at 10/9c with Veep Season 5 airing directly following at 10:30 ET.
