Suits Season 5 Episode 11 Review: Blowback

Suits returned with one intense ride.

Suits Season 5 Episode 11 picked up right where we left off with Mike sitting in a holding cell after being arrested for fraud.

There were a lot of surprises along the way, and one thing is for sure, we are in for a riveting final few episodes of the season!

I think we all shared Mike's look of surprise when Robert Zane walked in as his attorney instead of Harvey, but it made sense. It was always just a a matter of time until he found out the truth. Now no matter how this all plays out, there will be serious tension between Mike and his future father-in-law.

At least Mike has Rachel's assurances that she'll never leave him. It is obvious that scares him more than any other scenario he is currently facing.

Watching Harvey and Mike work is what makes this show so compelling, and they were really bringing it against Gibbs. I cannot wait to see what else they have up their sleeves, but there is no doubt in my mind that they will demolish her.

That woman has to show you're a fraud, but as far as the world knows, you're a goddamn lawyer and that's the way it's gonna stay. Don't forget, we don't need to prove you're a lawyer. She needs to prove you're not.

Harvey

I don't know how this is all going to play out. I can't see Mike losing or winding up in jail, but I also don't know how he wins and just goes back to the law firm, business as usual. It will be interesting to see how they keep the show going after this is all said and done.

Plus, the secret is out. Literally everyone knows, and that secret has been the backbone for five seasons now. Where do they go from here?

However they end up getting out of this mess, we know it won't be by turning on each other. These guys are nothing if not loyal, and they're too smart not to find another way.

They already came up with a brilliant plan to get Harvey back to the firm.

Mike: It doesn't matter if Forstman finds out or not if he doesn't have someone on the inside working for him.
Harvey: What are you saying?
Mike: I'm saying if they want me to point the finger at someone, that means I'm holding a gun.

Anyway they find to screw over Jack, I'm all for it. That guy seriously grates on my nerves. I know he's supposed to, but still.

Not only is Harvey back, but he is bringing Donna with him!

Louis trying to forbid Donna from helping Harvey and Mike was hilarious. Using the word "forbid" around Donna pretty much means you're going to get the opposite reaction. Still, they shared a really sweet moment when he let her go, knowing she needed to be with Harvey.

What about Gretchen? Will she move over to Louis now? I hope so, I really like her, and it would be sad to see her out of a job. Someone needs to break the news to her.

So, that brings us to the million dollar question: Who told?

Scottie and Trevor have been ruled out, assuming we believe both of them, which I do.

The promo for next week implies Donna did something, but that could also be misleading. Promos are known to do that.

Donna's made mistakes before, but I don't think this one is on her.

Could Louis have had something to do with it? He did technically try to go after Jessica's job, and he fired Donna. Plus he tried to claim plausible deniability of Mike.

The priest is a possibility, but that seems unlikely, and he wouldn't be able to testify in court anyway since those conversations are privileged.

We will have to wait until Suits Season 5 Episode 12 to find out, but until then, hit the comments with your guesses!

If you were lost, you may need to watch Suits online and catch up!

Whatever you're gonna say, don't say it. The truth is, you're doing me a favor, because after I got you out of this I was going to tell you to stay away from Rachel for the rest of your life. But I don't have to do it now, because you're gonna wind up in prison anyway.
