Madam Secretary Season 2 Episode 15 Review: Right of the Boom

at .  Updated at .

Henry is now radioactive man.

On Madam Secretary Season 2 Episode 15, Elizabeth was determined to find out who was behind the terrorist attack. I actually appreciated the way Madam Secretary approached the terrorist attack storyline. It was intense hour and we got an entirely different side to Elizabeth which humanized her even more.

Let's get right down to it and discuss, "Right of the Boom."

It was so odd seeing Elizabeth be so vulnerable. Elizabeth has always been one to have so much confidence and strength, but we were reminded she's still a human being. Even though I knew the kids were OK my heart broke for Elizabeth when she was trying to get answers.

Of course the hardest thing to watch was Henry trying to get ahold of Elizabeth and vice versa.

Of course Russell would be the one who had more information on where Henry was. I couldn't fault Elizabeth, after hearing about Henry, for not wanting to take a minute to herself. I loved how determined Elizabeth was to jump into work and try to find out who was behind the attacks.

The conversation between Elizabeth and Henry was pretty sweet. I had to laugh when Elizabeth confirmed to Henry he was taking something made from paint.

We all knew Henry was going to make it, but the reunion between him and his family had me a little misty eyed. I can't say I was entirely shocked about Henry wanting to going to DIA again.

Did I think it would be a good idea for Henry to rejoin? Of course not, but I understood where he was coming from. After such a traumatic experience he wanted to go out there and try to prevent another attack from happening.

I figured the person behind the bomb would be someone they weren't watching. I didn't blame President Dalton at all for getting angry. He was right he has all these people in intelligence and yet no one knows anything. Letting one person slip through their fingers led to a bomb going off and people getting hurt.

It only made matter worse when Elizabeth realized the CIA was wrong in their investigation on the stolen uranium. Who are these people who work in the CIA?

At least Elizabeth was there to do some digging and was able to find out there were possibly more bombs out there. Maybe they should just let Elizabeth take over all investigations from here on out considering she does a better job.

I was a little surprised it was a Saudi diplomat who was involved with the attack. He knew they would have a difficult time getting him for the crime because of his diplomacy.

Did anyone else kind of chuckle when the FBI, in trying to stop the guy from jumping, just yelled out not to jump? How many times has that worked for them? It was always going to be a suicide mission.

In the end, Elizabeth came up with a great idea of putting together a task force to get the leader of the terrorist group. It made a lot of sense, given the dismal intelligence they've been given, to put together a tight knit group of people to take down the organization.

I'm also completely on board with Henry joining the task force and not getting involved in the DIA again.
