Suits Round Table: What Will Mike Do Next?!?

at .

That was fast!

Mike finally got out of prison on Suits Season 6 Episode 9, but we don't quite know what his next move will be.

Below, TV Fanatics Christine Hinton, Stacy Glanzman, Jasmine Blu and Allison Nichols discuss Kevin's release, Leonard's good news and Harvey's decision.

What did you think of Mike getting out of prison?

Christine: I am glad the prison storyline is over and we can move on, although I was hoping to see Mike have more time with the prison counselor. I think watching Mike try to figure out why he does what he does could have been fascinating.

Stacy: I was worried there for a second the deal was going to get pulled again and they were going to drag this deal/no deal thing out even longer. I'm glad they didn't and he's out for real this time. I'm looking forward to see where they go from here.

Jasmine: Obviously we couldn't dwell on Mike in prison, but he deserved to be there, is still operating as if he's above the rules, and hasn't actually learned anything. Moving on is fine, but it hasn't been fulfilling.

Allison: I'm so glad he's out. Now he gets to focus more on what his life will be since he can't be a lawyer. I'm with Christine, though. I wished we saw more of Mike working out his issues with the counselor.

Was it a bit too much to have Kevin released?

Christine: I expected Kevin to be killed! I’m glad he wasn’t but that would have been more realistic than his release. I’m also disappointed in Mike for being so idealistic and impatient as to risk his own deal by threatening to sue Cahill? Why not wait until he got out and then work to help Kevin? This could have really blown up on Mike and if it had, I feel like he would have deserved it for not thinking it through.

Stacy: Realistically, probably, but this is the direction I figured they were going. I didn't want Gallo to get out, and the only way he stayed in was if both Mike and Kevin got out safely. It may not have been the most realistic thing to happen, but I still expected it.

Jasmine: It was definitely too much, but I didn't mind. I like Kevin. If Mike gets to sweet talk his way to freedom, why not take Kevin along with him? Mike's plan was reckless and risky but so quintessentially him I didn't bother getting annoyed.

Allison: I definitely thought he was going to die. I didn't really like that Mike went up against Cahill and thought he was going to save the day. He risked his deal and didn't seem to even consider that it might backfire on him.

Discuss Harvey's decision to lie under oath.

Christine: Ugh. That one was really difficult. As much as Harvey is willing to bend the rules, he’s always had his own version on integrity. I know it would have been to save Mike, but it would have not only risked his career but tainted his character going forward.

Stacy: I'm glad he didn't do it. It would have been out of character for him and could have had major repercussions.

Jasmine: Harvey notoriously bends the rules, but never actually breaks them. The fact that he even considered it was disappointing.

Allison: I'm glad he didn't have to do it. Harvey has sacrificed a lot of his integrity to get Mike out by representing Sutter and Gallo. I don't know if Harvey would have been able to live with himself if he lied under oath to free Gallo. I don't think he would be happy knowing he got Gallo out either.

On a scale of 1-10, how amazing was it to see Leonard happy?

Christine: A 10. The man has been through a lot. It was great to see him have something to get excited about. It must feel wonderful to know that someone cares enough to still come and visit him, especially when everyone else who meant something to him has abandoned him. I also loved that Jessica was the one to make it happen.

Stacy: Agreed, 10. That was such an emotional scene and definitely got me a little teary-eyed. After Jessica's previous experience, I'm really hoping for a win this time.

Jasmine: 10 for the win! That was the most emotional scene of the night. He really needed that and he was so overjoyed to have his daughter there and supporting him. My heart couldn't take it if Leonard doesn't get a win.

Allison: I definitely cried my eyes out. I really loved that Jessica did this on her own. This was her way of showing Leonard how much she cares about him, and that he's not just a case. I'd give it a 10.

Where does Mike go from here?

Christine: I wish I knew. He now has a criminal record. He can’t ever practice law, so how will he be involved with the firm? Will he be their highest paid paralegal? I have no idea what they have planned for Mike.

Stacy: I'm definitely curious to see where they go from here. I don't really have a guess other than I figure he'll be involved with the firm somehow. Though, they're trying to put the firm back together, and bringing him back may not look great for them.

Jasmine: He already went from a drug dealing pothead to a fake lawyer. The possibilities are endless! Maybe he can be a legal secretary like Donna. Does Donna still do that? Or maybe join Stu. I don't know, but it'll be interesting to see what they do.

Allison: Mike has always wanted to help people. He can still do that. There are many ways to use his knowledge of the law that are legal. As for what specifically Mike will do, I'm not sure.

What are your hopes for the summer finale?

Christine: That they give us some clue as to Mike’s future now that he’s out of prison. I also hope to see things center on the law firm once again. The prison story was an okay diversion, but it’s time to get back to basics. I also hope we get to see more of Rachel and Jessica working together and out of Mike and Harvey’s orbit for a change. Also, there's been no movement concerning Harvey and Donna's relationship. I want to see that develop soon.

Stacy: I also want an idea as to where Mike goes from here, but mostly I want to see the conclusion to Leonard's case. I really want to see a happy ending and hopefully the woman who raised him will come back to support him.

Jasmine: Free Leonard! I'd like some headway made in the quest to save the firm. I'd love for Louis and Donna to be more involved with the others, not sidelined with Louis' lackluster love life. I really just want more of that team dynamic we were given in the premiere. I also need to know where Mike goes from here.

Allison: I really just want to focus on Mike figuring out what's next for him. I'm definitely interested to see how Mike's release affects everyone inside and outside of the firm. Jessica and Rachel working together and making progress on Leonard's case would also be good.

Suits Season 6 Episode 9 Quotes

Donna: Oh, my God, Louis. Mudding is amazing. I actually just fell asleep for the last half hour.
Louis: God dammit, Donna. I didn't bring you hear so you could fall asleep while I'm pouring my hear out.

Louis, you are not moving another centimetre until Ronaldo comes in and puts that privacy curtain back up.
