Law & Order SVU: Annabeth Gish Lands Guest Stint

Annabeth Gish is making a move from Fox to NBC for a guest stint on veteran drama series, Law & Order: SVU.

Gish is scheduled to appear in one episode during Season 19 of the hit drama series, and her episode is shooting right now, according to TVLine.

Annabeth Gish

The central case on the episode finds Olivia Benson and her team of detectives trying to solve the case of a castrated man.

The team will find themselves investigating three female suspects who could be the killer, but will Gish's character be one of them?

We have no idea, but we will find out in October when the episode airs.

Gish's biggest role to date is as Agent Reyes on Fox's The X-Files. She has also appeared in the likes of Halt and Catch Fire, Code Black, Scandal, and Rizzoli & Isles

There has been a lot of casting scoop of late for the crime solver, with Brooke Shields, Will Chase and Amy Smart also tapped to appear.

The biggest casting scoop, however, is that Philip Winchester's Chicago Justice character, Peter Stone would be leaving Chicago behind for a new job in New York.

That new job will involve him being the ADA for New York. The move was a no brainer when you consider the fact that Stone's father, Peter, Benjamin already has ties to the franchise.

On top of that, NBC recently dropped brand new key art for the season ahead, and the poster has a bold declaration on it.

Law & Order: SVU Quotes

Benson: Thank you for coming forward.
Woman: What this company is doing, the way it treats women pilots, is despicable. But what you're doing... it's about damn time.

We have two options. One is bad. The other is worse. Either we missed one or... Yeats has a copycat.
