CBS has pulled the trigger on two new multi-camera comedy series for the 2018-2019 season.

The network on Wednesday handed out series orders to Cedric the Entertainer‘s Welcome to the Neighborhood as well as an untitled comedy starring Damon Wayans, Jr.

Cedric the Entertainer's comes from a script written by The Big Bang Theory scribe, Jim Reynolds. It follows “the nicest guy in the Midwest” who uproots his family and moves to a neighborhood in L.A. that is not one of the most desirable ones.
