Dancing With the Stars: Athletes Season 26 Episode 4 Review: 2604

Adam Rippon, Josh Norman, and Tonya Harding went toe to toe in a dance-off for the Mirrorball trophy on Dancing With the Stars: Athletes Season 26 Episode 4.

Honestly, I thought the shortened, blink and you missed it, season would be more fun, but it's actually been exhausting, and I'm not even dancing.

However, I enjoyed the lack of filler. I'd prefer to get straight to the dancing, and that's what this abbreviated season did. On the downside, there were definitely dancers I wish had gotten more of a chance to grow, especially Arike Ogunbowale.

Although many fans were outraged by last week's ouster of figure skater Mirai Nigasu, I have to say that I loved this final three. Every dance blew me away, except for one ... and that one shocked me.

So let's get on with the dancing!

Tonya Comes Out of the Ceiling - Dancing With the Stars: Athletes Season 26 Episode 4

Tonya Harding and Sasha Farber danced a Viennese Waltz to “The Time of My Life” by David Cook.

The happiness was coming off of Tonya in waves. It was heartwarming to watch her enjoy the moment, her second chance.

This has truly been the best time of my life.

Tonya Harding

Carrie Ann said every movement had real feeling behind it and I had to agree.

Total score = 26 out of 30.

Josh Norman Wears a Shirt - Dancing With the Stars: Athletes Season 26 Episode 4

Josh Norman and Sharna Burgess perform a Foxtrot to “Conqueror” by “Empire” cast, featuring Estelle and Jussie Smollett.

Much to everyone's shock, including Josh's, he was wearing a shirt! What’s up with that?

I never would have thought that I'd be here on Dancing With the Stars, and shirtless every week for millions to see! I don't get this shirtless when I'm back in the locker room.

Josh Norman

Josh even saved Sharna when she slipped on her long skirt. I agree with Bruno that it’s a shame this season was so short. I would have enjoyed watching more of this couple on the dance floor.

Total score = 27 out of 30

Adam Rippon Takes To the Sky - Dancing With the Stars: Athletes Season 26 Episode 4

Adam Rippon and Jenna Johnson dance a Jazz number to “Anything You Can Do” from “Annie Get Your Gun” from the new Broadway cast recording.

Oh, my! These two make me laugh because they are such fun!

Carrie Ann told them to take their act on Broadway and said they were the "Wonder Twins" of dance. As Bruno put it, Adam and Jenna had wit, humor, and were technically brilliant! Their perfect scores were well deserved.

Total score = 30 out of 30

Then all of our couples came back for a freestyle dance. Two were fantastic, and one was ... different.

Tonya Harding Enjoys Her Last Dance - Dancing With the Stars: Athletes Season 26 Episode 4

Tonya Harding and Sasha Farber put it all on the line with “I Will Survive” by The Pussycat Dolls.

I loved Tonya's let’s go for it attitude and her message of love and positivity conquering hate. Everyone deserves a second chance.

The best part was how much fun she was having I was proud of her for putting it all out there, and Sasha was ecstatic.

Len called it 1 and 1/2 minutes of joy. Bruno said she was dancing it as if her life depended on it, and Carrie Ann came out to hug her.

Total score = 30 out of 30.

Josh Norman Makes the Catch - Dancing With the Stars: Athletes Season 26 Episode 4

Josh Norman and Sharna Burgess took the dance floor to “Walk on Water” by Thirty Seconds to Mars

Josh ditched the shirt this time, and there's a lot that could be said about those shorts!

Bruno, "You’re wet, and a lot of people are very, very hot." No doubt. Josh was the master and commander of the dance.

Carrie Ann said it was Sharna’s best choreography ever.

Total score = 30 out of 30.

Adam Rippon Wears a Wig - Dancing With the Stars: Athletes Season 26 Episode 4

Adam Rippon and Jenna Johnson dance “Scooby Doo Pa Pa” by DJ Kass.

I love Adam and Jenna, but I hated the song, the costumes, and it ranked as my least favorite dance of the night. The judges' scores prove that out.

This final performance made me sad because Adam and Jenna have been incredible throughout this competition. I've never seen a team so in sync with one another, and it's translated to some beautiful, moving dances.

Total = 28 out of 30.

Then the audience had all of five minutes to vote! If you took a bathroom break, you probably missed it.

In the end, my favorite couple took home the Mirrorball trophy: Adam Rippon and Jenna Johnson!

Adam Rippon Wins the Mirrorball Trophy! - Dancing With the Stars: Athletes

As much as I enjoyed both Josh and Tonya, Adam Rippon and Jenna Johnson blew me away over the four episodes. I'm going to miss watching him dance.

So tell me TV Fanatics, did the right dancer win that sparkly trophy?
