This Is Us Casts Michael Angarano as Jack's Brother

According to Deadline, the hit NBC juggernaut Michael Angarano to the cast.
With Jack's (Milo Ventimiglia) time in Vietnam said to be one of the bigger storylines for the character during the new season, and it means fans will get to spend more time getting to know Nicky.
Nicky has thus far appeared in one episode of the drama series in a flashback in which he and his brother were children.
If you watch This Is Us online, you know that the series is fond of jumping through time in order to tell the story.

That's what makes it one of the best shows around. The storylines are not given a lot of room to breathe because we're constantly on the move to different times in the lives of the characters.
This Is Us Season 2 concluded with Kevin on a flight with his girlfriend headed for Vietnam with the aim of finding out more information about his father's time there.
“We felt like at the end of Season 2 our family had grieved and processed the loss of Jack at a deeper level than they ever had before, so I think this is a hopeful season, and it’s a season about new beginnings for everybody,” co-showrunner Elizabeth Berger shared at the Television Critics Association press tour panel for the show earlier this month.

As for the Vietnam storyline, the series brought in real-life veteran and author Tim O'Brien to make sure the show is showing an accurate portrayal of Vietnam.
Angarano stars as Eddie Zeidel on Showtime's I'm Dying Up Here which is awaiting word on whether it will return for a third season.
