Julie Chen made her grand return to CBS during Big Brother on Thursday night, and the host took the opportunity to pay tribute to her husband, Les Moonves.

As the CBS juggernaut concluded its delayed double eviction episode, Julie said the following:

“I’m Julie Chen Moonves. Goodnight.”

The host does not typically say "Moonves" when addressing the Big Brother audience, and given that it comes just four days after her husband was ousted from CBS, it's obvious the star was showing support.

Moonves lost his job on Sunday in the aftermath of the second wave of women coming forward and accusing him of sexual assault.

It was a follow-up piece from Ronan Farrow for The New Yorker.

Many have questioned whether there's a future for Chen at CBS following the circumstances surrounding her husband's exit.

She was scheduled to appear on the season premiere of The Talk earlier this week but opted to take a few days off.

“I am taking a few days off from The Talk to be with my family,” she said in a statement released when the episode went out.

“I will be back soon and will see you Thursday night on Big Brother.”

But many wondered whether Chen would actually return to Big Brother for Thursday's installment.

Reliable Big Brother spoiler source, REALvegas4sure, who gives insight into what goes on in production assured fans that Julie would be ready to return for the live show.

However, the account did share that names were being circled in the event that she decided against returning.

Chen supporting her husband is nothing new. When the first wave of allegations went public, she shared the following statement:

Julie Chen Smiles

“I have known my husband, Leslie Moonves, since the late ‘90s, and I have been married to him for almost 14 years,” she wrote.

“Leslie is a good man and a loving father, devoted husband and inspiring corporate leader. He has always been a kind, decent and moral human being. I fully support my husband and stand behind him and his statement.”
