God Friended Me launched Sunday night, and it managed to turn in some decent ratings for CBS.

God Friended Me Season 1 Episode 1 had 10.5 million viewers and a 1.4 rating among adults 18-49, pending adjustment due to football overrun.

Elsewhere on CBS, NCIS: Los Angeles returned with 8.7 million viewers and a 1.1 rating. These figures are up three-tenths in the demo vs. the show's May finale.

Over on Fox, The Simpsons returned with 4.9 million viewers and a 1.8 rating.

Family Guy followed with 2.7 million viewers and a 1.2 rating, steady with last year's launch.

Bob's Burgers had 2.6 million viewers and a 1.2 rating, but the true disappointment was Rel.

The new comedy was understandably down from its NFL-fueled debut, but 2 million viewers and a 0.8 rating has already put the show in the danger zone.
