Things are getting a little icy in the latest image from The CW's annual Arrowverse crossover.

The network shared our first look at Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane alongside the returning Tyler Hoechlin as Superman, and we have one word to describe it:

SUPER!

Hoechlin has already appeared on multiple episodes of Supergirl as Supergirl's cousin from Metropolis.

While Lois has been mentioned multiple times, this is the first time she will be seen in the flesh.

As previously reported, the Arrowverse crossover is titled "Elseworlds," and will air across Arrow, Supergirl, and The Flash from December 9-11.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow is sitting this one out which makes sense when you consider the fact the series is always jumping through time.

Lois Lane is not the only comic book character appearing in The CW's DC Universe for the first time.

It was previously announced that Ruby Rose will be taking on the role of Batwoman, and fans will also be introduced to Gotham City.

What's more, there are already plans in place to spin Batwoman off into her own show, and the network has placed a pilot order.

"Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence," reads the official logline for the potential series.

"But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope."
