It's official!

Julie Chen Moonves is returning to Big Brother. CBS announced Tuesday that the host will return for the sophomore run of Big Brother: Celebrity Edition. 

There was a big question mark hanging over Julie's future with CBS following the firing of her husband Leslie Moonves from the network earlier this year. 

When she stepped aside from her post on daytime talker, The Talk, it seemed like she was gearing up for an exit from Big Brother. 

Thankfully, that's not the case, and the celebrity edition will debut Monday, January 21 before concluding with a two-hour finale on Wednesday, February 13. 

The concentrated edition of the series pits celebrities against each other in the battle for the cash prize, resulting in less time to make deals with more than one eviction per week. 

CBS has also confirmed that The Amazing Race will return to the air on May 22. The new season will bring back favorites from TAR, Survivor, and Big Brother with the aim of winning the grand prize.
