Travelers Canceled After Three Seasons at Netflix!

It's game over for Travelers.

Netflix has axed the space drama after three seasons, according to its leading man, Eric McCormack.

“A lot of you have been asking about the possibility of a Season 4, but many of you have been saying, ‘Look, if this is it, what a moving and surprising and profound ending it is,’" he said at the top of an emotional video on Twitter, before going on to deliver the bad news.

"Well, I’m afraid it is [the end],” he said. “Who knows what the future holds, but Travelers Program 1, as we call it, is complete… Much love from 3468 in the 21st.”

He captioned the video by tagging his fellow co-stars:

"To all our fellow #Travelers... ❤️ ⁦@MacKenziePMusic⁩ ⁦@NestaCooper⁩ ⁦@JaredAbrahamson⁩ ⁦@PatrickGilmore⁩ ⁦@LeahCairns⁩ ⁦@SpenceJen⁩ ⁦@jalexbrinson⁩ ⁦@bradtravelers⁩ ⁦@Carrie_Mudd⁩."

Travelers creator followed up Eric's video by confirming the show's demise on his own Twitter account.

"Well, all good things... Thanks to the greatest cast, crew, directors, writers, artists and producing partners a guy could ask for," he said.

"Love to you all. And to @Netflix for stepping up so we could make season 3! @Carrie_Mudd @EricMcCormack @TRVLRSseries #bestfansever."

The cancellation is somewhat surprising, especially considering the fact that the show was one of the buzzier genre shows on the streamer.

The series started its life on Canada's Showcase network in 2016.

Netflix, which has helped a lot of smaller shows garner traction overseas by taking over the international distribution went on to take over the show globally as a Netflix original for its third and now final season.

Alongside McCormack, Travelers starred MacKenzie Porter, Nesta Cooper, Jared Abrahamson, Reilly Dolman, and Patrick Gilmore.

It followed Grant MacLaren (McCormack), the leader of a team of operatives from the future who traveled back in time to the 21st Century.

Once there, they had to take on the bodies of present-day people as part of a strategic plan to save humanity from a series of disasters.

The final season bowed on December 14.
