Grey's Anatomy Boss Teases a Reunion for Two Characters

Grey's Anatomy has been on the air for the better part of fourteen years.
The show is well known for the relationship drama that comes with the soapy territory.
Thankfully, it sounds like there is a glimmer of hope for one couple during the upcoming sixteenth season, at least according to showrunner Krista Vernoff.
If you watch Grey's Anatomy online, you know that Alex Karev and Jo Wilson's relationship combusted during Grey's Anatomy Season 15.

Jo's search for her mother didn't give her the answers she was expecting. In her travels, she learned that she was conceived by rape.
Jo struggled to cope in the aftermath, and she shut her husband, Alex, out of her life. Thankfully, Jo did seek help on Grey's Anatomy Season 15 Episode 25.
Krista Vernoff has now revealed that there could be a reunion on the cards for Grey's Anatomy Season 16.
"They were pretty great together," she said in an interview with TV Line.

"And then Jo suffered a very real trauma in discovering her birth story and experiencing the complexity of that rejection by her mother."
"It's impossible to be mad at the mother [since she was a victim of rape], so Jo got trapped in a really painful mental spiral. She needs treatment to come back to herself," she continued.
"I hope therapy brings her back to herself and Alex."
It would be great if JoLex managed to move on, but this is not something they're going to be able to brush under the rug.
Jo was hurting after her encounter with her mother, and she needs time to heal.
