Charlotte York Goldenblatt is a fine art dealer in Upstate New York. She grew up in a very Protestant Republican blue-blooded upbringing.
Although Charlotte is the most conservative and traditional one in the group, she is definitely not prude and has been on enough sexual liaisons of her own to make her feel like a "Samantha" compared to her old sorority friends.
Charlotte is always on the quest for true love and her happily ever after. But, the knight in shining armor isn't the man she thought it would be. Her marriage to Dr. Trey MacDougal falls apart and her bald - Jewish divorce lawyer, Harry Goldenblatt, ends up being her true love after all!
Harry and Charlotte end up adopting a little Asian girl from China, Lily. In the first Sex and the City movie, we come to find out Charlotte is pregnant and gives birth to her little daughter Rose.
