Jenny Humphrey

Only 14, Jenny Humphrey is the youngest of the Gossip Girl characters. Jenny is the younger sister of Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley).
She's an aspiring social climber, and while she physically resembles Serena van der Woodsen, she often tries to fit in with the rich-girl clique of Blair Waldorf at her school, even though she doesn't hold a place in their social world, being from (relatively) middle-class Brooklyn.
Despite her lack of clout, Jenny managed to steal Nate Archibald from Blair Waldorf at one point, and dethroned Blair to become the de facto new social queen herself for a brief period.
Young and insecure but spunky and driven to get what she wants, "Little J" often goes to wild and embarrassing lengths to set up an image for herself, which causes much consternation for her brother Dan and father Rufus (Matthew Settle).
Near the end of the first season, Jenny began dating a boy named Asher Hornsby to help climb the social ladder. However, it turned out Asher was gay - and mean. This episode resulted in the outing of Serena's brother, Eric van der Woodsen.
Jenny Humphrey was also busted stealing clothes from one of Blair's rich friends.

Blair Waldorf is my style inspiration. I always wear bows and headbands, Jenny use to be so sweet and lovely. She was ultra cute when she was trying to climb to social ladder, but once she did she changed what the throne was all about. Blair had class and style, Jenny turned it into a completely other story. Trampy. Blair is amazing. Jenny is acting too big for her boots. That's just my opinion though.

I just wanna see Jenny Humphrey and Taylor Momsen(yes i consider them the same now) to come back to season 1..appearence wise..i mean come on she was growing up to be Serena gorgeous...no wonder Nate didnt go for her with the way she looks now..i think she was cute in s1, in s2 she was edgy, but now shes just gothic barbie..its sad really...

She's the character all of them used to be in first season; conflicted, superficial, rich, and emotionally stunted. Nate, Blair and Chuck all started off the series as grade A antiheroes, and in my opinion the show's demise is trying too hard to make them sympathetic and apologetic - none of us started watching so we would see nice people be nice! Jenny is what Gossip Girl is all about, plus she's actually creative and pretty damn realistic in her bad choices. So, she and Blair are both my favorite characters and I wish more people would root for both of them - their wars are IMO one of the staples of the show.

Ohmygod, Jenny is SUCH an evil character. The girl is a suicide bomber- fashion style. Hey, I'd kill myself too if I dressed like that. Ewwww. Can someone say "style intervention"?

I love Jenny! People are so mean to her, but every character has their slut/bitch/trash moments, she just had more. I want her to go back to her old self, she was prettier.
And think, if blair had acted the way jenny had, would you still love blair?
