Kurt Hummel is a stereotypical dork.
He's a soprano that's part of the school's glee club. He has a major flair for the dramatic and is a proud, young gay man. Kurt is very close to his father, who has also been featured on the show.

He's a technical countertenor, though a countertenor's range is roughly around the same as the average mezzo-soprano of that age. Hm. I like that term. "Fashionable soprano".

Technically Chris (and thus Kurt) describes himself as a countertenor, although he did use the catch phrase "fashionable soprano" in the early Glee interviews. Kurt is awesome! Chris is amazing. :)
