Nelsan Ellis stars as Lafayette Reynolds on HBO's True Blood. Lafayette is a short order cook at Merlotte's and is Tara's cousin. Lafayette is also a drug dealer that sells V, a vampire drug, on the streets.
He was captured by Eric, but managed to make it out alive.

Lafayette makes me feel human, and I'm not gay but his role helps me to enjoy oneselve and deal with things. "Life isn't about having problems Tara it's about having to deal with the ones you've got ! Nelsan Ellis made me feel and understand those words. ! POSITIVE

OMG, Lafayette is the bomb! I really dont care much about watching Gay stuff on T.V. but, The role of Lafayette is done so artistically well that is my favorite person on the show!!!If only people were so openly honest!
